Eri Maldives

Eri Maldives is an eco-conscious island resort in the North Malé Atoll, approximately 42 km from Velana International Airport. Guests reach the resort by a scenic speedboat transfer lasting around 45–50 minutes. Designed as a relaxed, eco-chic sanctuary, Eri combines Maldivian culture, natural surroundings, and comfortable contemporary accommodation. The island features white-sand beaches, turquoise lagoons, gently swaying palms, and a house reef accessible from the shore.

The resort is especially suited to travellers seeking a balance of relaxation and marine experiences. Snorkellers and divers can explore colourful coral gardens and abundant marine life around the house reef and nearby dive sites. Eri operates a PADI-certified dive centre offering courses, certification programmes, guided excursions, day and night dives, and exploration of the local reef system.

Accommodation is presented in a selection of beach and studio categories, including Beach Suites, Beach Pool Villas, Sunset Beach Villas, Beach Villas, Beach Studios, and Sky Studios. Depending on the category, guests can expect beach access, ocean views, private terraces, modern comforts, and either a beachfront or elevated setting. Beach Pool Villas provide a private pool experience, while Sunset Beach Villas are positioned for sunset views. The resort’s design focuses on an easygoing island atmosphere rather than formal luxury.

Dining centres on Soul Kitchen, the resort’s all-day restaurant. It serves global and local flavours prepared with seasonal ingredients in a welcoming setting. Sip & Dip functions as the main bar beside the lagoon and pool, serving cocktails, wines, mocktails, and other refreshments. Beach Shack offers a casual beachfront setting for tropical drinks, mocktails, and chilled refreshments while guests enjoy the sand and sea.

Activities include snorkelling, scuba diving, non-motorised watersports, excursions, and time at the beach and lagoon. Guests can also take part in cultural immersion experiences and other island-based activities. Eskape Spa provides a quieter wellness setting with treatments, yoga, mindful care, and restorative rituals intended to support relaxation and balance.

Eri welcomes families and guests of all ages. The supplied information does not specify a children’s club, interconnecting accommodation, or dedicated family programmes, so these details should be confirmed directly before booking. The resort’s all-inclusive plan may include daily meals, unlimited soft drinks, juices, tea, and coffee during meal periods, plus selected alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks throughout the stay. Direct-booking benefits can include spa and watersports discounts, selected excursion discounts, and a complimentary romantic beach dinner for stays of seven nights or more, subject to the stated conditions.

Location

The hotels on the island can be reached by boat from Malé Airport in about 20-50 minutes on average. It is one of the most discovered and well-known parts of the Maldives. The very first hotels were built here in the 1970s. The capital of the atoll (Malé Atoll, also known as Kaafu Atoll) is the town of Thulusdhoo in the central part of the east, with a total of about 1,200 inhabitants. The other major center of North Malé Atoll, its inhabited island, is Huraa, which is inhabited by about 750 people. Excursions are often organized here from the holiday islands, and there are several tourist guesthouses for backpackers and those who like cheap vacations. A mosque was built on the island in 1759 by the Sultan Al-Ghaazi Hassan Izzaddeen dynasty. Larger inhabited islands are also Himmafushi and Dhiffushi.
